Hardwood Flooring uses Bona waterborne re-coating products for a
healthier home.
Healthy
No toxic fumes and low VOCs means your health isn't at risk. Waterborne finishes
are healthier to work with, and there's no need to vacate the jobsite during
re-coating or refinishing.
Fast
Fast dry times (1-3 hours) and cure times (80-90% in 3 days).
Durable
Advanced technology waterborne finishes are the most durable polyurethane
finishes of any kind - waterborne or oil-modified.
Beautiful
Clear, high build finishes won't amber or change color over time, highlighting
the true beauty and elegance of the wood.
During the recoating procedure we gently scuff the
surface of the hardwood floors so that a fresh coat of finish can adhere to
them. This method forms a new surface layer that will accentuate the wood grain
and make your floors look immaculate again.
The Greenguard Environmental
Institute is an industry-independent, non-profit organization that
establishes standards and testing for indoor products. Their goal is to improve
public health by helping manufacturers build safer products. These products will
not pollute the air with harmful levels of dangerous chemicals or particulates.
Bona has been the pioneer of environmentally
responsible waterborne hardwood floor finishing technology. Since bringing the
first waterborne finishes to North America in 1979, we have continued to
innovate advancements in performance as well as for environmental and personal
health. |
